The application range of ordinary cement is limited as a grouting material due to the material particle size, which has a maximum size of 90 μm and an average size of 10 to 20μm.
However, SUPERFINE has the advantage of an average particle size of 4μm and can be injected into fine sand layers and micro-fissures, which previously had been ungroutable with ordinary cementitious grouting material.
As a pioneer in the field of Ultrafine cementitious grouting, SUPERFINE has achieved a high level of success in numerous grouting projects in Japan and overseas.

SUPERFINEULTRAFINE CEMENT
Characteristics
SUPERFINE is a blast furnace slag-based ultrafine cementitious grout material with a D95 particle size of approximately 10μm.
It is able to permeate fine sand and grout very small cracks and fissures. It is used in various grout applications for dams and tunnels.
Use
- 1. Pre-and post -excavation grouting
- 2. Water cut-off grouting
- 3. Dam grout curtain
- 4. Soil consolidation
- 5. Stabilization of structure foundation
Package:20kg bag or 1.0mt Jumbo bag
Construction Achievements
Arrowhead Tunnels
- Place: San Bernardino,California
- Use: Water cut-off grouting
- Construction of water conduit tunnels
The Arrowhead Tunnel is an inland feeder project that is an innovative solution to protecting Southern California's water supply.
SUPERFINE was used for water cut-off grouting during mining.
Kaminokuni Dam
- Place: Hokkaido in Japan
- Use: Dam grout curtain
Aigawa Dam
- Place: Osaka in Japan
- Use: Dam grout curtain
The Aigawa Dam is being constructed for the purpose of flood control in the Aigawa watershed located in the northern part of Osaka Prefecture in Japan.
SUPERFINE-LULTRAFINE CEMENT FOR HYDROTHERMAL and / or BRINY CONDITIONS
Characterristics
SUPERFINE-L is a Blast furnace slag-based ultrafine cementitious grout material specifically for hydrothermal and / or seawater-saturated ground that would be difficult to grout with traditional cementitious materials.
It is used in various grout applications at harbors, isolated islands, hydrothermal and coastal areas in Japan.
Use
- 1. Seismic reinforcement and liquefaction countermeasure applications for structures around coasts and harbors
- 2. Grout works for seawater-saturated sandy ground and hydrothermal areas
- 3. Sand solidifications for caisson construction

HNP-1500NANOFINE CEMENT WITH D50≒1.5μ
*Prior consultation is required as production and sales of the product for special applications.
Characteristics
HNP-1500 is a nanofine cement with an average particle size of 1.5μm, which is finer than SUPERFINE ultrafine cement.
Its small particle size allows it to permeate ground containing fine sand mixed with silt that would be difficult to grout using ultrafine cement.
Use
- 1. Liquefaction and seismic reinforcement of foundations, underground structures and directly under existing structures
- 2. Reinforcement of embankments and slopes
- 3. Grout works for tunnels and other underground facilities
- 4. Foundation improvement projects requiring high strength
